In exhibitions I like the possibility to juxtapose and view images from several places in the world at once regardless of when and where they were taken. My photographs are neither a documentation of historic sites, nor ethnographic notes, but impressions of places. I hope they encourage a culture of remembrance in which the priority is to give space for different stories.
